Dementia Care

A dementia diagnosis affects the whole family, not just the person living with it. Our dementia care across Bromley and south Croydon brings familiarity, patience and calm into the home your loved one knows best — helping them feel safe, settled and themselves, and giving you the reassurance of expert support alongside you.

Care that meets each person where they are

We support people living with all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's, vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal and mixed dementia. No two people experience it the same way, so we take time to understand each person's history, routines and preferences — then match them with carers who bring consistency, gentleness and genuine warmth. With dementia, a familiar face and a steady routine make all the difference.

As needs change, we adapt with them — from gentle prompting and help with daily routines to fuller, round-the-clock support — always with dignity and reassurance at the heart of it.

How our dementia care helps

  • Respite that gives family carers a much-needed rest

Specialist, accredited dementia training

Good dementia care takes real skill, and our team is trained for it. Our carers complete dedicated, condition-specific training — including dementia, Parkinson's, stroke and dysphagia — accredited by the Careskills Academy. That means the person caring for your loved one genuinely understands the condition, and how to respond with patience, confidence and warmth.

Medication and data you can trust

Where care includes medication, it's handled carefully and recorded properly. We use GP Connect — the NHS's secure record-sharing service — to keep each client's medication information accurate and drawn directly from their GP record, and we meet the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit standards for handling information safely.

Why care at home makes a difference

For someone living with dementia, home is where they feel most secure — surrounded by familiar possessions, routines and the people they love. Staying in those surroundings, rather than moving somewhere new and unfamiliar, can ease confusion and help your loved one feel calmer and more like themselves.
